Finance & Business Management - Program Management Senior Associate

The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries Finance & Business Management team is responsible for the development, organization, and execution of strategic and tactical initiatives to help grow and manage the business. Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries Finance & Business Management is part of the broader Commercial Bank Strategy, Finance & Business Management function within the Office of the Chief Financial Office. The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries group covers companies across the globe, typically with revenues of over $500mm, requiring traditional banking services and investment banking products.

As a Program Manager Senior Associate within the Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries team, you will be instrumental in propelling our growth strategy by orchestrating and spearheading crucial projects and initiatives, as well as addressing ongoing business requirements. You will be tasked with cultivating a robust comprehension of the commercial banking sector, while fostering relationships across Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries, the wider Commercial Bank, and across various business lines within the company. Your role will involve advocating for Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries interests while managing a range of highly visible projects and deliverables, primarily focusing on sales enablement areas.
 

Job responsibilities

• Act as key resource and business partner across Sales Enablement work streams; with a specific focus on partnering with teams developing CRM platforms and sales tools for banking teams 
• Support the Program Management office in key finance and business management functions including end-to-end project management, partner engagement, strategy development, and ad-hoc deliverables to senior stakeholders and colleagues 
• Identify areas for continued process improvement and independently execute against list of key objectives 
• Ensure business requirements are well defined, comprehensive, and aligned with strategic objectives; serving as the voice of Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries for sales, finance, and operational partners
• Partner with business in developing, implementing, and executing key analysis and reporting to be leveraged by all levels within Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries, as well as senior management in Commercial Bank and senior partners across the firm
• Prepare executive-level presentation materials to be shared with management, business groups, and other relevant stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in relevant field across finance, business management, strategy, or consulting
• Program/project management experience with experience in project management platforms
• Execution and project management skills – Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. Able to quickly and effectively respond to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests. Scope projects and create workable project plans. Strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multi-task
• Communications skills – Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills, a keen business acumen and the ability to synthesize “the story” for executive-level audiences and adjust messages and style based on different audiences and agendas.
• Problem solving skills – Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather and manipulate data, obtain consensus and support implementing change. Able to outline work process in a thoughtful and detailed manner. Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in knowledge gathering and problem solving
• Technical and analytical skills – Able to produce accurate, error-free analysis and reporting. Understand business drivers and ensure that the groups’ analyses are sound. Capable of synthesizing large amounts of data in Excel and from internal systems to develop strategic conclusions and solutions 
• Leadership and interpersonal skills – Strong professional presence with the ability to interact and influence colleagues at all levels in the business.  Able to collaborate with peer team members across business and staff areas at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over all resources.  Proactively seeks guidance, clarification, and feedback from others
• Bachelor's degree
