The ShareShop Coordinator plays a pivotal role in day-day operations of the ShareShop. The position duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Opening and closing the ShareShop on days of operation
  • Managing donations made to the ShareShop, including evaluating donations, and if accepted, cleaning and organizing donations into the ShareShop
  • Working collaboratively with other ShareShop Coordinators, supervisor, and the ShareShop and Dean of Students Office Student Assistants.

Requirements: 

  • Enrolled or in process of enrolling for 2024-25 academic year

Job Description

Pay Rate: $15.57 per hour

ShareShop Coordinator/Team member will work anywhere from 8 to 15 hours per week, depending on student employee availability and Project Team goals. Main duties include:

  • Serving visitors and guests of the ShareShop during open hours.
  • Collaborate with project teams to execute initiatives for the ShareShop.

  • Coordinate tabling events with the Student Assistant position to raise awareness and engage students in various campaigns and programs.

  • Assist in the implementation of the Interview Clothing Rental program and other rental programs to ensure their smooth operation and accessibility to students

  • Support team members in organizing and maintaining the ShareShop space, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, cleaning and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive campus environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.

Regular Commitments include:  

  • A commitment to working 10-15 hours a week during the summer (June 1st-August 26th 2025). 

  • Your work shifts will be within a typical work week (8am-4:30pm)

  • Attendance at weekly team meetings (1 hour per week)

  • Continued progress and monitoring of project goals

  • Monthly check-ins with supervisor

  • Attend the graduation ceremony a week after finals week to handle caps and gowns

Qualifications

Application Deadline: Friday, July 26. Interviews will be scheduled around the last week of July, and work is anticipated to start in early August to prepare for the academic year. Training will be provided.

Additional Criteria:  

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work on the ground, lift and transport materials (up to 50 pounds)
