Job Summary:

  • Act as business lead for inbound and outbound data onboarding and enrollment systems, both for new and existing integrations of moderate to high complexity.

  • Manage internal and external resources to successfully conduct data re-implementation and change projects of moderate to high complexity.

  • Manage and perform triage for data inquires and issues and act as subject matter expert to internal resources and customers.

  • Provide informal leadership and support team and capability development.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

35%    Act as business lead for inbound and outbound data onboarding and enrollment systems, both for new and existing integrations of moderate to high complexity. This includes:

  • Lead customer conversations on specifications and set expectations for data onboarding and enrollment systems processes.

  • Communicate technical concepts and negotiate with customer to advocate for our solutions.

  • Perform business testing on files and provide feedback to customer.

  • Coordinate with internal resources in business and IT to ensure timely delivery.

  • Configure mapping tools to support services.

35%    Manage internal and external resources to successfully conduct data re-implementation and change projects of moderate to high complexity. This includes:

  • Project management and documentation, utilizing established methodologies, tools and templates

  • Issue resolution and consultative problem solving

  • Communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with customer to advocate for our solutions

15%    Manage and perform triage for data inquires and issues and act as subject matter expert to internal resources and customers. This includes:

  • Manage moderate to high complexity data issues.

  • Perform research, demonstrating high level critical thinking skills to identify the source of issue, coordinate with internal business SME’s to assess impacts and communicate with stakeholders

  • Review amendments for data integration impact and assess whether data change is needed

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for internal/external questions, consult on our process, systems, capabilities and data requirements. 

  • Primarily focused on our current capabilities.

15%    Provide informal leadership and support team and capability development, including but not limited to:

  • Support and influence successful development of new team members. This includes mentoring, proactive coaching, training and ensuring quality delivery

  • Recommend and develop new processes or procedures to improve customer experience and increase efficiency

  • Participation in identifying best practices

  • Drive identification and adoption of best practices

  • Provides input on new data integration capabilities, lead efforts as needed

  • Participation in department projects

Education/Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field. Four to six years progressively responsible experience in systems administration, group insurance benefits, customer-facing project management or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

Skills: Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, database querying applications such as SQL Server and TOAD, understanding of basic database concepts and customer-facing project management
