Job purpose
BorgWarner is currently looking for a “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering student at our PowerDrive Systems Engineering Division in Auburn Hills, MI. This person will primarily be responsible for assisting the engineering team with developing Embedded Software for the Electrification products. Additional related projects may be assigned to continue growth and development in the engineering function.
Key responsibilities
Identify and implement new and innovative Software Engineering solutions on Embedded products.
Work with the existing Software team to automate the process and support testing the developed Software.
Analyse and update existing programs for further improvements.
Create documentation for and test new software applications.
Complete the assigned projects to timely completion.
Report progress on timely manner.
Maintain Software Test benches.
What we’re looking for
Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college, university, vocational/trade school.
Ability to report onsite at least three days to our Auburn Hills Campus
