As a Senior Analyst, Commercial Strategy, you’ll use your analytical skills to creatively solve problems and directly impact commercial and pricing strategy. You’ll drive the organization’s core business segments through the development of complex models, strategic initiatives, processes, reporting, and tools. Our team members enjoy framing ambiguous and complex problems, working with others to think laterally and create alternatives, and driving results through a blend of strategic thinking and analysis.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Assist in development and implementation of Commercial Strategies for the Pricing Organization
• Proactively formulate new commercial and pricing initiatives to drive company results
• Coordinate cross functionally to develop tools and establish best practices
• Support the Pricing Organization with advanced analytical processes and models
• Execute, evaluate and report success of various initiatives to the senior leadership team
• Conduct analyses under different pricing scenarios to compare net results
• Root Cause analysis

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis
• Demonstrated ability to derive insight from data, formulate solutions, and drive action
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of a large organization
• Ability to use, evaluate, and contribute to computer-generated decision support models
• Experience with data mining using business intelligence software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics
• Master’s degree
• 5 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis and Less Than Truckload (LTL) pricing/cost modeling
• Project Management experience
• Experience with SQL
• Working knowledge of statistics and statistical packages in Python, R or similar
• Highly organized work style with proven ability to multitask

Employees are paid within a salary range based on their experience, skill set, and market.
Colorado annual salary range: $74,792 to $93,490
New York annual salary range: $78,354 to $97,942

California annual salary range: $81,915 to $102,394
Washington annual salary range: $78,354 to $97,942

Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set (e.g., if an applicant far exceeds the minimum and preferred qualifications for the role).
