West Retail Regional Director

Montblanc| Remote

Reports to: VP, Retail

 

Role Overview

Leadership role overseeing retail network and its deliverables. As a Regional Director you will inspire your teams, cultivate partnerships across the network. You are leading by example in driving execution of the vision, operational decision making with strong focus on client experience and hospitality. Your success will come from a sense of ownership of your business, growing leaders and creating a culture of collaboration, accountability and sense of pride as part of our Maison.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery of KPIs, Operational Excellence and our Retail signature.
  • Achieve sale budgets and diversification targets for the region
  • Ensure your region is an example of best practice as per brand guidelines.
  • Create specific business plan per boutique. Facilitate discussions with boutique managers to drive the business plan, through frequent boutique visits, regular communication and ongoing support.
  • Coach, develop, and maximize the success of all boutique managers and their teams
  • Develop new business ideas that elevate clientelling opportunities as per business metrics
  • Partner with your VP and Human Resources on staffing and development issues
  • P&L management including monitoring and controlling boutique business expenses to improve results
  • Manage operational execution (Policy and Procedure)
  • Ensure Loss Prevention policies and practices are being followed within the boutiques.
  • Perform special projects as designated by management.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 10+ years of multi-store retail management experience
  • Affinity for luxury goods; Watch and jewelry experience a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage a P&L
  • Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Challenges the status quo; is able to present a different point of view
  • High level of etiquette – business and social
  • Ability to travel extensively (80%)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • SAP preferred
