*THIS POSITION REQUIRES YOU TO WORK IN OUR OFFICE IN JACKSONVILLE, FL 4 DAYS/WEEK. 1 DAY/WEEK REMOTE. *

What you'll do:

• Deliver functional prototypes that match specs
• Act as a mission-critical member in the development of cutting-edge applications and services, as well as collaborating with other business units
• Share technical knowledge with existing team
• Design, develop, own and maintain solutions
• Write great code in multiple languages, operating on various OS distributions
• Interface with existing technologies and reduce redundant legacy systems
• Design and deliver highly scalable multi-tiered distributed software applications
• Be part of an agile team and sharing responsibilities of testing and development as the role demands
• Flexible approach to analyzing technical issues and clearly communicating recommendations/solutions
• Ability to maintain and support systems during non-business hours

To do well in this role you’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field or equivalent, relevant experience
• 3-5 years programming in PHP, Java, C# or .Net Frameworks
• Experience developing client-side apps - jQuery/HTML/CSS 
• 3-5 years of experience work with relational databases including MS SQL and MySql
• 3-5 years working with web development in an enterprise environment
• Intermediate experience writing database applications  and stored procedures
• 3-5 years development on high-performing RESTful APIs or e-commerce interfacing system
• 1+ years experience with Git or a similar distributed version control system
• 1+ years experience in cloud-based applications/technologies (AWS or Azure)
• Full stack experience & familiar with basic sysadmin tasks MS Server
• Flexibility, adaptability and ability to autonomously manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Team-first attitude: work well independently and in multi-team, cross-discipline environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with orientation towards innovation and open source tools

Above all else though, my advice for anyone looking to work at HC Brands is very simple; you have to want to be here. It won't be enough to show up to the interview and be capable.
