Job Overview
We’re looking for a full-stack engineer to join our Trust and Safety Tech team. We hire engineers to solve real user problems, not implement specs. You will be instrumental in discovering, developing, and refining the internal and external functionality that ensure users can find belonging within a safe, engaging environment. Your work will help ensure VRChat scales safely, protecting growth and trust by reducing harm with low friction. This role involves working within Node.js/Mongo backend and React frontend to deliver low-friction, scalable moderation, anti-abuse, and safety systems.
Who You Are
A pragmatic, full-stack engineer who treats safety and privacy as first-class design constraints. Comfortable across the MERN stack, comfortable with adversarial thinking, and comfortable being on-call for systems that matter.
