Senior Manager, Merchandising

Spreetail is looking for a Senior Manager of Merchandising to build strategic partnerships with our brands, while also being responsible for the leadership and development of a team of individual contributors. Our Merchant group collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis in order to make strong buying decisions that will drive the financial results for the brands we partner with.

How you will achieve success:

• Manage individual vendor accounts, oversee a full profit and loss statement, and drive overall performance through our Merchant programs.
• Support the team in building their strategic plans for their brand partners and assist them with tough vendor negotiations and conversations.
• Own the vision, strategy, performance, and overall success of a book of business in order to maintain and exceed long-term profitability goals.
• Build strong relationships with top-tier vendors and represent Spreetail when meeting with decision-makers. This will include executing negotiations to obtain the best pricing, volume, etc. while strategizing and showcasing profit growth opportunities using data.
• Collaborate with numerous internal teams and stakeholders in order to help achieve the goals of our brands and the goals of Spreetail.

What experience will help you in this role:

• Extensive experience managing enterprise level brands accounts and a history of driving performance
• History of implementing cross-functional processes and strategies to ensure the business success of a team.
• Experience in buying, procurement, purchasing, or sourcing, with a preference for retail or ecommerce environments.
• Strong data analytics skills and the ability to utilize data to make informed business decisions.
