Delivery Driver

Description

Bacon Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electric are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off material for our technicians, as well as help around the warehouse as needed.

Responsibilities

• Picking up and delivering parts to a designated location, such as job sites, supply houses, HQ etc.
• Updating delivery records and managing POs/ other paperwork related to deliveries.
• Using navigation tools to plan optimal routes and arrive at the correct address(es)
• Observing and following all transportation laws and practicing safe driving at all times
• Working around warehouse organizing, cleaning etc. as needed
• The work schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-5pm; we accept deliveries until 5pm. Overtime is common and expected.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Must pass a background check 
• Physical demands include frequently lifting and moving items up to 50+lbs. This position is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and climbing in the bed of the truck all day.

• Strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple tasks and assignments

• Able and willing to work on-call schedule: nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
