Role Overview


We are seeking a collaborative and driven professional to join our Strategic Events team as an Associate Manager, Content Operations. In this role, you will help deliver world-class content experiences across Salesforce’s global event portfolio. You will manage core content workstreams—such as speaker management, narrative and deck development, event technology integrations, and onsite execution—while ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail at scale. Acting as a deputy lead for proprietary events, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to bring content to life, streamline processes, and enhance the overall event experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to build leadership skills while making a direct impact on Salesforce’s most visible event programs.

Key Responsibilities


Global Event Content Operations

  • Manage and execute content workstreams including speaker management, RainFocus integrations, session decks/narratives, and overall content logistics.
  • Serve as a deputy lead for proprietary events, supporting end-to-end content planning and ensuring alignment with event strategy.
  • Partner with Content Strategy Managers and stakeholders to translate high-level content direction into actionable execution plans.
  • Support the development of project tracking tools (e.g., content program tracker) to streamline cross-functional coordination.


Onsite Leadership

  • Act as onsite lead for high-visibility content zones (e.g., Campground), ensuring flawless execution and strong attendee experiences.
  • Collaborate with key partners—including Event Tech, Broadcast, Creative, and Safety & Security—to deliver seamless onsite activations.


Team Collaboration & Enablement

  • Mentor new contractors, helping to onboard and expand their scope across Content Operations.
  • Contribute to team resources such as templates, FAQs, internal comms plans, and reporting to enable repeatable, scalable delivery.
  • Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the broader Content team.


Process & Reporting

  • Help improve and document Content Operations processes, enhancing efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Support reporting efforts by contributing to content analytics, recaps, and other measurement tools.
  • Maintain organized documentation and asset management systems to ensure content is accurate and accessible.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in content operations, event management, or related fields.
  • Proven project management skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outputs on deadline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and contribute to a high-performance team culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with event technology platforms (e.g., RainFocus).
  • Familiarity with Slack-based supp
