Data Analyst CJob Description Summary
The Associate Director of Data Analytics, University Development works under the direction of the Director of Planning and Data Analytics to support and improve data alignment, management, planning, and analytics related to University Development’s departmental strategies and to help ensure that all units in the division are well-positioned to maximize fundraising success. A key responsibility of the position will be identifying and communicating data-driven analysis with internal constituencies within University Development leadership and across University Development units, schools, and centers. Position reports to the Director of Planning and Data Analytics, University Development.Job Description
Job Responsibilities
1. Strategize effective data tracking, data analytics and reporting on key program-related performance outcomes/metrics in close partnership with the Director of Planning and Data Analytics. This work includes:
- Collecting data and maintaining data alignment,
- Analyzing and manipulating data in Excel,
- Maintaining lines of communication to ensure all data is properly handled,
- Utilizing data to provide feedback to key stakeholders,
- Authoring strategies for data improvement and enhancing data quality, and,
- Producing reports and helping to create dashboards.
2. Initiate, coordinate, and contribute to other special projects as needed in support of planning and implementation of departmental strategy in close partnership with the Director. This includes but is not limited to:
- Presenting compelling data result outputs to University Development leadership and supporting their ability to make recommendations on efficiencies and continued alignment,
- Investigating data to define metrics that discover current and future growth opportunities,
