Job Summary 

The Executive Director, GenAI/Agentic AI Platform Suite is responsible for leading, managing, and directing the Gen AI / Agentic AI Platform Suite. This role will define the strategic vision, drive innovation and oversee the development, and growth of our suite of the Generative AI platform.The Executive Director will collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align the platform’s capabilities with organizational priorities, optimize resource allocation, and foster adoption of AI-powered tools. This position requires a visionary leadership, strategic mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to build and scale AI solutions while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and ethical AI best practices. 

Key Responsibilities

• Set strategic vision and direction for the Generative AI / Agentic AI Platform Suite, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities to maximize business impact through AI-powered capabilities

• Define, and be accountable for executing, a strategic roadmap for the Generative AI Platform suite, establishing and ensuring adherence to business product and technology policies and standards while collaborating with senior leadership and key stakeholders.

• Evaluate and prioritize platform initiatives, making necessary trade-offs to optimize outcomes.

• Define and oversee the full lifecycle strategy for the platform suite from identifying and integrating AI solutions to sunsetting legacy offerings, optimizing for overall suite performance, with evolving business priorities.

• Serve as the AI executive champion for the Gen AI / Agentic AI Platform Suite, articulating its strategic value to senior stakeholders, influencing enterprise decision-making, and fostering a culture of AI innovation and accountability.

• Partner with Analytical Product Executive Directors and Business Product Owners to infuse GenAI/Agentic AI capabilities into business and analytic products where and when applicable. 

• Partner with DDA functional teams to develop a cross-functional product roadmap for GenAI and agentic AI. 

• Partner with the Informatics (IX) team to develop a scalable, secure, and compliant ML/AI platform ecosystem — from experimentation to production deployment.

• Set the scientific and technical direction for the Data Science and ML function; lead the development of cutting-edge methodologies in areas such as natural language processing and LLM fine-tuning, generative and agentic AI systems.

• Oversee architecture and technical strategy for end-to-end ML workflows, including data pipelines, feature stores, model training/validation/deployment, and performance monitoring.

• Partner with IX to ensure adoption of best-in-class MLOps practices to scale reproducible, automated, and compliant data science, ML, and AI development across use cases.

• Define and track success metrics (e.g., adoption, performance, ROI) for data science and machine learning products and platforms.

• Partner with Digital Experience and Informatics teams to integrate data science and AI into content generation, omnichannel engagement, CRM, and digital operations. Drive adoption of generative and agentic AI solutions to enhance speed, creativity, and personalization in business workflows.

• Identify, establish and manage strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions and other organizations to expand the platform’s capabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (VP, SVP level) across CMG to identify AI use cases, gather business requirements, analyze market trends, and shape the overall AI platform strategy.

• Develop and implement cross product strategies that align with the strategic objectives of Patients, Customers, and the Enterprise.

• Drive CMG cross-functional alignment, collaborating seamlessly with other leaders across Commercial, Medical, Access and Informatics to align product strategies with business objectives, make necessary tradeoffs, ensure rapid product development, drive adoption, and track progress of the GenAI/Agentic AI Platform Portfolio.
