Warehouse Gate Clerk $14/hour

Description

American Lumper Services is a growing nationwide warehouse management company currently seeking motivated individuals to assist our San Antonio, Tx location with gate clerks.  

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control & Security: Verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and truck drivers before authorizing entry.  
• Shipment & Yard Management: Check drivers in and out, and assign specific dock doors for loading and unloading operations. 
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Verify the accuracy of Bills of Lading (BOL), seal logs, and other shipping/receiving paperwork. Input and maintain detailed records in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Communication: Serve as the central point of contact between inbound/outbound carriers, warehouse supervisors, and the security team. 

Requirements

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle stress and coordinate effectively with drivers and staff.
• Attention to Detail: Critical for accurately matching cargo details, license numbers, and seals against shipping documents.
