As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail or mall location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for visitors and tenants. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, assisting with inquiries, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related incidents as needed. You will deliver exceptional customer service while helping to deter unwanted activity through your presence and communication skills. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting, and maintaining accurate visitor logs as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, collaborating with local authorities or emergency responders when necessary.
• Communicate information and/or directions to visitors and tenants in a professional manner while supporting a welcoming environment.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity at the front desk area through attentive presence and adherence to protocols.
• Report security-related observations, incidents, and/or concerns to Allied Universal supervision promptly and accurately.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the location following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
