We're thrilled to welcome a Recruiting and HR Coordinator to our team in San Diego or Irvine office! This is a hybrid position with significant work-from-home flexibility. As OCMI grows, our HR team is working towards best-in-class practices, and you will be a significant part of the team that gets us there! We will train you in areas where you lack experience!

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Concierge: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all new hires.
  • Perform full lifecycle recruiting as needed.
  • Play lead role in recruitment marketing and engagement
  • Onboarding Administration: Manage the administrative aspects of onboarding, including preparation of new hire materials and coordination of orientation sessions.
  • Training Coordination: Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for new hires and ongoing professional development for existing staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reports using ATS (Applicant Tracking System), HRIS (Human Resource Information System), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers, Recruiters, and cross-functional teams (HR, IT, and Administration) to facilitate effective execution of people-related projects and tasks, including culture, engagement, total rewards, performance management, and general HR administration.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred 
  • We welcome candidates with a range of experience, including: (1) recent graduates with a degree related to Human Resources, (2) those with an unrelated degree but relevant HR internships, or (3) individuals with several years of experience in recruiting or HR support.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communicator, relationship builder, and structured doer.
  • Intermediate to advanced user in MS Office Suite

Compensation: $22/hr - $35/hr commensurate with experience
