HALO is seeking a Part-Time Retail Associate to support a company retail store located within a corporate training and operations facility in Dallas. Our store is committed to creating an engaging shopping experience through exceptional customer service, a collaborative team, and high-quality branded merchandise.  The Part-Time Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience in a customer-focused environment by providing outstanding service, maintaining store standards, and supporting daily retail operations.

Responsibilities  

• Utilize Point-of-Sale equipment, including handling returns/exchanges. 
• Manage credit card transactions.
• Convey product features/pricing for a wide variety of items.
• Understand customers’ immediate needs and match products to those needs.
• Understand client’s brand guidelines and marketing initiatives. Keep internal teams updated with any new initiatives.
• Work closely with customers to develop relationships, understand their needs, and develop strategies designed to enhance the shopping experience.
• Streamline the transaction and shopping process for ease and customer satisfaction.
• Unpack merchandise, restock, re-fold and organize the storage room and sales floor.
• Communicate inventory status and stock need to Store Manager.
• Place re-orders for merchandise as stock levels dictate, and interface with customer service.
• Complete additional tasks as designated by manager.

Requirements

• Experience using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, preferably Square, including processing sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Ability to process transactions quickly and accurately, especially during high-volume periods.
• Experience with visual merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills while maintaining a friendly, courteous, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within established client policies and campus environments while building positive relationships with client staff and support teams.
• Flexibility to provide occasional event support outside of regular business hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds while unpacking, transporting, organizing, and stocking inventory and equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain physically active throughout the work shift.
• Proficiency with computers, email, phones, and other digital communication tools, with the ability to accurately receive and communicate information.
• Willingness to adapt to changing responsibilities, schedules, and operational needs as business needs require.

Education and Experience 

• High school diploma 
• 1+ years of retail customer-interface experience preferred. 

Compensation: The pay rate for this role is $16.00-$20.00 per hour. Please note that this pay serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
