Lab Technician Assistant- Central Processing
Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Lab Technician Assistant to join the central processing team. This role will work Night Shift (20 hrs/week) Monday-Friday with every other Weekends, schedule will vary based on department needs.

Lab Technician Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- The Laboratory Technician Assistant 1 ensures accurate specimen processing to maintain specimen integrity and verifies product and/or test components when processing.
- Manages specimen accessioning accurately/efficiently to provide quality specimens for Laboratory testing.
- Performs billing/registration procedures accurately and efficiently in order to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communicates effectively and work cooperatively with team members to optimize job performance and foster working relationships.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Lab Technician Assistant Additional Requirements:
- Working Hours: Night Shift (20 hrs/week) Monday-Friday with every other Weekends, schedule will vary based on department needs working hours1000pm-0630am
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous Lab and/or phlebotomy experience highly preferred
