Summary   UES is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Dan Brown and Associates office located in Knoxville, TN. This is a full-time position with regular office hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls 
  • Organize and schedule appointments 
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms 
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports 
  • Maintain office filing system 
  • Maintain company database 
  • Billing 
  • Maintain contact lists 
  • Provide general support to visitors/ clients 
  • Any other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • You must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable record is required.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant is preferred.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures is necessary.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and fax machines, is expected.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Prior experience with data entry is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work are crucial.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are important.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask are required.
  • Remote or work-from-home requests are non-negotiable.
