Asscociate Software Engineer - CI/CD Engineering (Hungary)

Red Hat Telco Engineering CloudBand team is looking for a CI/CD Junior Software Engineer to join in Budapest, Hungary or Hungary remote. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical contributions to strategic telco grade cloud infrastructure products . You will be a member of a geographically distributed team which engages early and works closely with each other and with Partner Telecom companies and Customers. We are looking for a Junior CI/CD Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of CI/CD tools and technologies, as well as a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. The successful candidate must be allocated in Hungary and we are looking only for junior level.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our software development lifecycle
• Work with developers to automate the build, test, and deployment process
• Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with other DevOps engineers to improve our overall CI/CD strategy
• Keep up to date with the latest CI/CD trends and technologies

What you will bring

• Scripting skills in Python and Linux power user is mandatory
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous automation in Ansible is a big plus
• Understanding of virtzualization and kubernetes concepts
• Experience with CI/CD tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, Gerrit, or GitLab is a plus
• English language is mandatory
