About the role:

MMIT Data Operations Center of Excellence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide valuable insights and drive informed decision-making within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query Editor, and Snowflake
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs, translating them into effective technical solutions
• Build robust data models and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the business intelligence platform
• Develop visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in a user-friendly manner
• Utilize Power Query Editor to perform data transformation, data cleansing, and data integration tasks efficiently
• Optimize and tune the performance of business intelligence solutions to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing
• Conduct data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive strategic decision-making
• Implement data governance and data quality standards to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the information presented in the business intelligence solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and support on business intelligence best practices and data-related initiatives
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in business intelligence technologies, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the business intelligence development team
