As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.As a Senior Software Engineer you will be part of an engineering team where you will be responsible for working through vulnerabilities in our software, updating java libraries to non-vulnerable versions and the dependencies that go along with them. Additionally, you will work with our testers to address bugs or defects and propose & design solutions.
Due to the nature of this position, we are seeking experienced Java developers. Additional experience utilizing Jenkins and container based solutions is preferred.

Job Description
- Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.
