Customer Service Representative - Credit & Collections

As the Construction and Forestry sectors continue to grow, we’re expanding our team and looking for a Customer Service Representative who’s passionate about delivering exceptional service. This role is based at our headquarters in Richland, Mississippi, where you’ll play a key part in supporting our valued customers and contributing to our continued success.

Our Customer Service Representative plays a key role in delivering exceptional support to our clients by managing the collection of past-due invoices, reconciling customer accounts, and addressing a variety of service-related requests. This position works cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve account disputes and ensure the timely collection of outstanding receivables.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of collections, dispute resolution, and account reconciliation for the assigned portfolio
• Recommend past due accounts to the Credit Manager to go to the Attorney and the Collection agency
• Review client payment(s) and reconcile when required
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit and collections is highly desired
• Experience with commercial and personal credit reports is needed
• Experience in a high-volume collection environment is a plus, preferably in heavy machinery with the construction or forestry industries
• Proficient with computers and software systems (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Strong understanding of the principles of credit and collections
• Strong customer service skills with excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment
