Summary
The Global Talent Management, Learning & Leadership Specialist is responsible for the research, design, implementation, measurement of programs and initiatives that drive adult learning. This includes leadership development and soft skill development. This position will support cross functional teams of HR professionals and Carhartt leaders and establish/maintain effective working relationships with clients at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver global learning and talent initiatives. Programs include but are not limited to New Hire Orientation, New Leader Orientation, Capability, and Leadership Development.
- Deliver and maintain adult learning tools, within the structure and curriculum of Carhartt Learning.
- Utilize various adult learning methods depending on the audience and need at the time.
- Develop, implement and evaluate organizational-wide learning & development solutions and soft skill learning.
- Work collaboratively with the Talent Management and HR Operations team leaders.
- Analyze a problem/situation from a system level perspective. Determine the appropriate decision makers and the appropriate processes to be modified, adapted or created.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities to adult learning and development programs that are needed to support the achievement of business goals.
- Lead facilitation of training programs in the areas of leadership development, team building, organizational development and other areas of priority for the company.
- Diagnose gaps, assist in developing programs and implement solutions to close identified gaps between the organization and leadership effectiveness ensuring the linkage of learning and development programs to corporate goals and strategic direction.
- Cross functional partnership and support for other global talent initiatives and programs.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Management Business Partners and/or content subject matter experts to support solutions aligned with business needs such as assessments, curriculum design, best practices, scheduling, program delivery and program evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of Learning management system administration, tracking, and evaluation.
- Experience working with outside vendors and contractors as necessary.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required in Instructional Design/Technology or Related Field
Required Skills and Experience
- APTD/CPTD, Preferred
- 2 – 4 years’ experience developing Learning content in a corporate, or similar, environment including the following:
- Experience in administering and developing content for a learning management system preferred.
- Experience as an internal practitioner / consultant providing HR, OD or Training services.
- Experience in mentoring and leadership coaching.
- Knowledge of leadership / management / organizational development assessments, protocols, change management strategies and processes.
- Ability to conduct a needs analysis, design a complete developmental initiative including a communication and working plan.
- Ability to facilitate discussion with various size groups at all organizational levels.
- Strong intellect, confidence and presence in addressing issues in diverse business situations with all levels of management.
- Strong demonstrated process and diagnostics skills coupled with successful execution and implementation experience.
- Strong MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills. Strong experience and ability in SharePoint, Articulate 360 and Camtasia is preferred.
