Rapid City Site Superintendent

The Site Superintendent is responsible for estimating and project management of a single Commercial project located within Rapid City, SD

The Site superintendent will be responsible for checking completed and in progress work for adherence to the company and client's guidelines.

Experience with medical projects is preferred.

Site superintendent will be responsible for working closely with the project manager to report site and working conditions, progress and QA compliance.

In addition, performing all duties consistent with the Company Mission Statement and BMH philosophy are expected. Maintaining a positive attitude and good working relationships with customers, employees, and the public is required.

Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking experienced "traveling" Superintendents (bilingual a plus). Commercial construction experience, working as a General Contractor is required and a positive, innovative, teamwork attitude is a must. Only qualified candidates in the commercial construction industry will be considered.

You must possess the following:

• Ability to read and understand construction documents including project plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Clear understanding of the documentation and processes between the owner, architect and contractor.
• Clear understanding of commercial construction means and methods.
• Experience with Procore Software is Preferred
• Strong communication skills & leadership ability.
• Must be capable of maintaining a construction schedule and updating on a weekly basis
• Coordination with Utility service providers to meet project deadlines
• Subcontractor coordination
• Problem solving and conflict resolution
• Must be computer literate, preferring experience with Microsoft Office, P6, Plangrid, Bluebeam and other construction related software.
• Construction degree a plus.
• Healthcare Experience is Preferred,
• Commercial construction experience working for a general contractor on commercial ground up construction is required
• Applicant must be comfortable reviewing construction work from the "Ground up" for quality and correction
