About the role

Assisting in creating the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS, with a focus on accounts payable management
Intercompany reconciliations with sister and parent companies
Account reconciliation and analysis
Preparing tax returns, advance VAT returns and ZM reports
Preparingand monitoring of GIT (Goods in Transit)
Preparing reports and provision schedules
Asset accounting
Assisting in the optimisation of accounting processes and support for projects
Independent processing of financial accounting with a focus on accounts payable and general ledger accounting
Account assignment, checking and posting of incoming invoices and goods receipts
Credit card and travel expense accounting
Preparing and supporting warehouse and test note inventory
Master data maintenance

You have completed a training as accountant, balance sheet accountant or a comparable commercial training successfully
You possess in-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
You have a strong understanding of numbers
You have in-depth knowledge of the legal and tax requirements in accounting in accordance with HGB
You are confident dealing with payroll, financial and asset accounting
You are experienced in preparing, ananlysing and interpreting business analyses
You are characterised by your reliability and your excellent ability to organise yourself
Your analytical and structured thinking enables you to quickly grasp complex interrelationships
You have a hands-on mentality
Your work is solution-oriented
You are confident in using the MS-Office package, especially Excel
You are fluent in German, written and spoken
Your English skills are very good, written and spoken
