Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to protect the IT infrastructure, data, and systems from cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will implement security measures and monitor for security breaches.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement security policies and procedures. 
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
- Respond to security incidents and provide post-event analyses.
- Educate staff on cybersecurity best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist or similar role.
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience Levels:
5+ years of experience, with advanced skills in threat mitigation and security strategy
