Manager, Product Management, PMS Connectivity

In this role you’ll:

• Lead a team of Product Managers specializing in integrations to third party vendors of Hospitality products.

• Engage with world class Hospitality providers in discovery, design, and solution to innovate hotel distribution connectivity including enhancing system performance, driving increased revenue, and improving efficiencies.

• Oversee the creation and completeness of business requirements for product development and drive adherence of the requirements through the product development process ensuring delivery in line with client and market commitments.

• Serve as product category expert in the review and implementation of product initiatives.

• Lead the balance of business needs with technology assessments and recommendations of alternative technical approaches to meet design requirements when needed.

• Partner with engineering to drive technical projects and provide leadership in an Agile development process, setting scope, and ensuring effective prioritization of features & stories, managing daily progress, and defining acceptance criteria.

• Communicates the overall product vision to ensure product delivery is aligned with strategy.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Amadeus's strategic partners and stakeholders.

• Collaborate and align with partners on partnership and performance objectives.

• Monitor objectives with partners through KPIs, reporting and QBRs.

About the ideal candidate:                      

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience is required.

• 5 to 7 years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to Product Management is required.

• 5+ years of people leadership

• An excellent knowledge of the hotel distribution landscape and CRS/PMS connectivity and concepts including central reservation systems (CRS), revenue management systems (RMS), Payment systems, content distribution, channel management.  A strong understanding of Property Management System (PMS) integration is required for this role.

• Experience with Scalable Agile for Enterprise (SAfE) or related Agile methodology is preferred.
