Job Description
This leadership position has a combined responsibility for North American Professional Services Sales, Business Development, and Delivery including working with managed services teams for appropriate post-sales support to customers. You will manage the Cybersecurity, Digital and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) businesses and resources aligned to the region to achieve our goals. This business is collectively known as "CDM". You will manage the total Professional Services business - annual revenue, operating earnings, resource utilization, productivity, customer satisfaction index targets and other business objectives of each business.
You will also manage important initiatives to realize the benefits of jointly managing the Cyber, Digital and MOM businesses. You will lead the development and execution of business strategy and initiatives through a team Global Business Unit leaders, Regional Delivery Managers, Center of Excellence and Innovation Center Managers, engineers, design, proposal, project management, field technical support, training and asset management professionals, project resources, engineers, training instructors and coordinators, asset management professionals and administrative personnel.
You will work with the regional and sub-regional leadership for Lifecycle Services and Global Sales and Marketing to ensure the success of the business.
You will report to our VP & GM Professional and Managed Services and can be based in Milwaukee, WI; Cleveland, OH; Houston, TX; or Westin, FL.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the combined Professional Services (Cyber, Digital and MOM) P&L while realizing the benefits of joining the management of the BUs under one organizational structure.
- Develop and implement annual business strategies (BSR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and execution plans with alignment to Global CDM, Regional Lifecycle Services and Regional Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) focus to realize the benefits of a combined CDM business including plan for performance and growth (orders, shipments, growth initiatives, expenses), investment allocation, market focus plan and strategy.
- Responsible for development of regional application teams; channel strategy, growth objectives, target market, applications, customers, technologies, pricing strategies, core competencies and programs
- Provide strategic insight and subject matter expertise to sales organization and other partners and take an active role in joint sales calls and large account presentations, proposal management and review.
- Ensure goal alignment and collaboration between LCS, BU and Sales, Industry, CSM, OEM, Market Access, Contracts and Marketing teams.
- Responsible (with Regional Delivery Managers) for strategic organization planning, management and development of team including hiring, retention, performance review, and coaching.
- Provide market intelligence on PAM, market share, product positioning, commercial positioning and competitor information.
- Identify opportunities for partnering with third parties (vendors and strategic system integrators) who support the business strategy and provide added growth in revenue and profit.
- Work as a member of the LCS and GSM leadership team and participate in cross regional projects / best practices sharing.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Typically requires 12+ years management experience.
- 15+ years of sales, business management or marketing experience preferably in automation industry with at least 8 years' experience managing teams.
- General management, leadership skills and performance driven.
