Job Description
Thought Industries is currently expanding our Sales Engineering team. We are looking for a dynamic team leader who can step into a high growth role with confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm to lead, build and grow a team of pre-sales engineers.

You and your team will work closely with our sales reps, solution architects, and product managers to position winning, deliverable and, sticky solutions to our prospects. You'll need to be a process and data driven individual with a proven track record of being able to handle multiple projects at once with great efficiency and effectiveness.

You are self-motivated, intelligent, and passionate about delivering outcomes, in the minimal amount of actions. You are confident in your abilities and can pick up on new concepts and ideas fast.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a team of sales engineers with a focus on:
- Ensuring demo delivery excellence
- Meeting with Ti marketers, product developers, and sales executives to create sales strategies.
- Supporting other members of the sales team by training them in the uses of products/services
- Creation of repeatable demo processes, tools and assets.
- Assist the sales team in discovering customer requirements / pain points and their match to Thought Industries capabilities
- Developing a deep understanding of the entire TI platform within the SE team. The ability to delineate what we can or cannot support as well identify recommendations that support prospective customer needs.
- Responsible for demo preparation, custom demos, and use case development within the TI platform, including developing custom CSS/HTML.
- Support demonstrations of the entire Thought Industries learning business platform, integrations, and extensibility solutions to potential customers highlighting the features and benefits of using our solution.
- Act as the prospect and customer facing product expert in sales situations, including assistance with RFP’s.
- Assist in the smooth transition of accounts into the post-sale process.
- Develops Customer Relationships at the VP / C-Suite Level and below in support of the sales process
- Leverage your technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to influence customers decision making process
- Travel up to 25% in support of the sales process
- Contribute to a company-wide culture of teamwork and mutual support.
- Build high performing teams with the skills necessary to achieve the teams overall objectives
Qualifications
Desired skills & experience:
- 7+ years sales engineering and/or sales engineering leadership experience
- 7+ years’ experience selling B2B SaaS products in enterprises
- 5+ years team management experience
- Proven experience building processes and procedures to support the sales process from a presales Engineering perspective.
- Proven track record with all stages of an enterprise sales process and organizational buying processes
- Ability to gain internal, cross functional alignment to drive organizational change
- Executive-level communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent business and technical acumen
- Exceptional presenter
- Superior analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience with online learning software a plus
