Senior Level Simulations Accreditation Systems Engineer

Amentum is seeking Senior Simulations Accreditation Systems Engineer to join our team. The role requires a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, modeling and simulation methodologies, and relevant industry standards. 

You will be part of our growing systems, information technology & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel.

** Contingent on contract award**

Job duties include:

• Primarily focused on ensuring that simulations and models used in Virtual Testing Environment (VTE) or Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) environments are credible and reliable, particularly supporting/ assessing the verification and validation (V&V) of the simulation, as well as managing the overall accreditation process. 

Minium Qualifications and Skills:

• Ten (10) years of experience in project management.

• Eight (8) years of experience demonstrating knowledge of complex simulation systems.  

• Assess combat systems documentation and end user needs with the ability to identify and define simulation requirements.

• Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance

• Candidates must maintain a valid Real ID driver’s license required for access to customer site and have access to reliable transportation (rideshare options such as Uber, Lyft etc. are not permitted) as this position requires occasional travel between local worksites during the week.
