Our Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) is the Home Care Team serving West Michigan. We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our growing team supporting patients across West Michigan.
This role offers a high level of autonomy, allowing clinicians to practice at the top of their license while delivering care in patients’ homes. Home health occupational therapy provides a unique opportunity to help patients regain independence with daily activities and safely function in the environment where they live and thrive.
Our therapists maintain manageable caseloads, typically seeing 5–7 patients per day, with thoughtfully designed geographic territories that minimize travel and support work-life balance. As part of Corewell Health West, our VNA team is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care across Ottawa County and surrounding communities.
Scope of Work
Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.
Standard Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's Degree Graduate of accredited speech therapy program
- Preferred Master's Degree Graduate of accredited speech therapy program
- Preferred Doctorate Graduate of accredited speech therapy program
- 2 years of relevant experience of related experience Required
- LIC-Speech Language Pathologist - State of Michigan State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
- LIC-Speech Language Pathologist Education Limited Temporary - State of Michigan State of Michigan required during CFY Upon Hire required
- CRT-Speech Language Pathologist - ASHA American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred
- LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines
Upon Hire required - CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
