World Relief seeks an Employment Team Assistant to support Career Pathways programming and Match coordination for the Matching Grant program. This role would assist the Career Pathways Coordinator (CPC) by doing outreach, transportation, research, and filing assistance and assist the Outreach team by coordinating, organizing, and delivering Match gift in kind items. This includes ensuring clients are able to use the items given.
This is a position that is funded through a grant agreement until 9/30/24 and is contingent upon funding extension.

Role & Responsibilities
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Work with CPC to develop training material and organize service delivery
- Provide individualized trainings, assist participants with networking, and help with job application review
- Assist in coordinating supportive services: transportation, interpretation, childcare, etc.
- Accompany clients to job preparation activities and interviews, coaching clients so they can attend these events independently in the future
- Support staff with program outreach efforts and data management
- Provide one-on-one technical assistance sessions to English Language Learners
- Create career pathway informational packets
- Organize gift in kind donations
- Coordinate with Resettlement Caseworkers to identify families to receive gift in kind items
- Deliver gift in kid items to Matching Grant clients and provide education on how to use items
- Other duties as identified by the Employment Manager
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed, accurate records
- Strong mediation and problem-solving skills
- Cross-cultural experience and/or knowledge of the refugee/immigrant experience
Requirements
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
- High school diploma or GED
- Drivers licence, access to reliable vehicle and clean driving record
