Job Description
EVERSANA, Deployment Solutions is putting together a team of Nutritional Sales Specialists that will launch and promote a new product to Health Care Providers within assigned geography. The NSS will educate all key HCPs about the products’ features, benefits, safety profile and all other developments related to promoted product. This position is responsible for achieving both territory product sales goals and territory sales activity goals through company defined metrics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Nutritional Sales Specialist, you will:
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. in order to meet or exceed those objectives.
- Create pre-call plan using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluation in order to continuously improve sales performance.
- Proactively and continuously aspire to serve customer needs, customer expectations and challenges in order to build trusted customer relationships and to achieve win-win agreements between client and customers.
- Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers in order to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Continuously build understanding on customer needs and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical and sales expertise and share this market intelligence information with in-field team, brand team and sales manager to achieve alignment, to anticipate environmental changes and challenges and to optimize brand strategy and its execution.
- Differentiate client’s value proposition with health providers assigned and identify, develop and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates in order to maximize brand performance.
- Develop and execute business plans to meet and exceed sales objectives set forth by the client.
- Consistently demonstrate a high sense of urgency, follow-up and maintain integrity in all business interactions.
- Attend client POAs, National Sales Meetings or other meetings as necessary. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College/University is required
- Clinical experience as a Registered Dietician strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a life sciences sales role, ideally within the healthcare/pharma industry
- Experience in Gastroenterology is required
- Proven track record of successful performance
- Ability to learn, comprehend and apply medical, scientific, and commercial information to drive increased product utilization among assigned customers
- Solid communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities
- Offers innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities to address challenges.
- Provides impact with ideas for the larger organization and anticipates and responds to changes.
