About the role

Acquisition Management Analyst & General Management Consultant

Key Role:

Serve as an acquisition management analyst and trusted advisor to the federal government in support of the client’s mission. Draft acquisition strategies, define acquisition milestones, support the Government in vendor management activities, support the pre- and post-award of federal contracts, and the development of statement of work and statement of objectives. Draft full Request For Proposal (RFP) packages, including identifying requirements, Performance Work Statements, and market research. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work without considerable direction, anticipate client's needs, and proactively provide solutions. Use discussions and workshops with stakeholders and contract staff to identify the elements that work best to address the clients’ complex problems. Train and knowledge share with project team. Develop reports, write knowledge content, and prepare presentations for senior management to support any recommendations, new initiatives, or enhancements, as required. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of experience with government acquisitions, life-cycle planning, program management, and business operations

  • 6+ years of experience with management consulting, including leading or supporting a large public or private sector multi-channel contact center modernization effort

  • Experience with the development of RFPs, including competitive and non-competitive

  • Experience with Source Selections and Technical Evaluations

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook

  • Experience with providing contractual consultation to a government client, including researching, analyzing, and interpreting complex rules and regulations, and providing actionable recommendations to government clients

  • Knowledge of the federal acquisition regulations (FAR) policies and processes, and principles of acquisition planning

  • Ability to lead discussions with various stakeholders to conduct strategic planning, define business objectives, prioritize goals, and mitigate risks, and present complex solutions or applications to staff and customers

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree  

 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with teams in an Agile environment

  • Knowledge of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

  • Possession of excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and initiative taking skills

  • SAFe Agile Scrum Master Certification
