Are you interested in joining a dynamic and growing professional organization? Raytheon is looking for a Scrum Master in our Arbitrary Agile Release Train. Our teams provide subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, software development, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensors to be achieved through our people, processes, technology and performance.
What You Will Do
You will be working as part of a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and develop software for those requirements to ensure effective implementation.
Some specific responsibilities include:
Support of Agile Team(s) software development including requirement explanation, Q&A handling, and performance analysis of feature implementation to gauge whether the feature is complete and meetings design expectations.
Create and coordinate team meetings, sprint planning and reviews, retrospectives and standups.
Verify backlog readiness for planning and execution.
Identify and champion resolution of impediments.
Track and report team agile metrics.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with current Missile defense programs with specific experience in large, complex systems.
Experience developing software in a team-based development environment, preferably using the Agile Scrum or Kanban framework
Experience in the field of Engineering, including any of the following: System Requirements definition and analysis, System Test and Analysis, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, Software Test and Analysis working with MATLAB, C/C++, Ada, Java or DOORS.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U. S government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Battle Management command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, Radar Systems or signal processing techniques.
Experience with developing, documenting and maintaining processes, methods and tools.
Strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with radar system concepts; detection, discrimination, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance
Experience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance.
Experience in using AI/ML and signal processing in database and algorithm design and enhancement.
Previous military service.
Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills.
Active DoD Secret Clearance or greater.
