Position Summary
• Responsible for planning and implementing sales, promotion, advertising strategies and programs to meet the marketing and communication goals of the system.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Licenses and Certification
• N/A
Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: 5 years in Marketing and Media Relations
• Supervisory Experience: 3 years
Role Specific Responsibilities
• Develops marketing plan to support initiatives including the allocation of fiscal and human resources.
• Monitors the implementation of staff members’ marketing plans.
• Performs specific marketing initiatives including market research studies.
• Recognizes opportunities for new marketing initiatives.
• Seizes sales opportunities and relationship opportunities that are beneficial to SIH among the medical and greater community.
• Is key interface person with media vendors and advertising agencies of choice.
• Directs, develops and implements all marketing and public relations strategies for the organization
• Creates annual marketing plans to achieve the strategic growth objectives of SIH.
• Oversees publication vehicles used to communicate with internal and external audiences including physicians, employees, businesses and community members.
• Conducts market research to identify current market data/trends and recommends appropriate plans.
• Responsible for reports related to marketing activity.
• Develops and monitors marketing budget.
• Plans for and implements strategy optimizing the effectiveness of paid and unpaid media.
• Implements social media and online communications, strategies and tactics.
• Implements CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Strategy.
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
