Summary of Responsibilities:

The Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) provides high-level administrative support to the COO and ensures efficient coordination of day-to-day operations. This role includes managing schedules, preparing documents, assisting with communications and meetings, and supporting departmental functions with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the COO.
  • Draft, edit, and manage documentation including policies, reports, and meeting materials, etc.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, committees, and internal events including materials, calendars, and communications.
  • Maintain organized digital files and departmental records.
  • Serve as point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the COO.
  • Support Operations team with administrative tasks when applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Compensation: $75,000

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds and the ability to work in a standard office environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
