Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (may include on-call or extended hours based on production needs)
Pay Range: $18.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on level, skills, and years of experience
Position Summary
PrimeSource Building Products is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanic Lead Person to support maintenance operations for COBRA, a company within PrimeSource Building Products, at our Pennsylvania facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and improving machinery and facility systems to support production needs while providing hands-on leadership, ensuring safety compliance, and promoting continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment with both equipment and facility responsibilities.
QualificationsEssential Duties and Responsibilities
Based on production needs, the Electro-Mechanic Lead Person repairs, maintains, installs, and supports machinery, equipment, and facility systems, including but not limited to:
- Perform routine troubleshooting, inspections, and preventative maintenance (PMs)
- Repair and maintain production machinery and equipment
- Perform machine installations, replacements, removals, and relocations
- Install, dismantle, reassemble, and secure machinery and auxiliary equipment (platforms, racks, guards, etc.)
- Maintain tools, equipment, parts, and accurate maintenance logs
- Perform light carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC-related tasks
- Apply basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge during repairs and troubleshooting
- Periodically inspect air make-up units, air conditioners, exhaust systems, and related equipment
- Erect scaffolding and perform simple rigging as necessary
- Perform basic building and property repairs as required
- Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal and grounds keeping
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Quality Control standards
- Implement safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping practices
- Work safely in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide guidance and support to maintenance team members as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of electro-mechanical or industrial maintenance experience
- Prior lead, senior, or mentoring experience preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to support operational and production needs
