Environmental Health & Safety Intern

Qorvo’s Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full time opportunities, as available.

Responsibilities:

• Ability and willingness to work in multiple environments, including semiconductor clean rooms, facilities/central utility areas and building exteriors.
• Manage small Environmental, Health and Safety projects and/or fieldwork activities.
• Learn regulatory and business requirements for safety and environmental topics.
• Research solutions or alternative answers to EHS issues.
• Possible use of database management skills as required.
• Contribute to team discussions on EHS program applicability to site activities.

 

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Environmental/Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety, or Industrial Hygiene (GPA > 3.0)
• Interest in problem solving.
• Ability to understand small project completion.
• Course work or background in environmental or occupational safety topics
• Experience with Microsoft excel and other data management tools helpful
• Good communication skills & personal initiative.
