About the role

Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions. Design and implement BI Tableau operational processes, metrics and programs as needed. Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design. 

Champion dashboard quality, consistency, usability and reliability by documenting and applying best practices to design and development. Understand client objectives and processes, and plan and coordinate the execution of the internal implementation team’s fulfilment of those objectives. Understand the Velogica data model and develop the skills and tools necessary to efficiently execute ad-hoc queries in support of client or internal requests. Support client integration efforts by leading the development, understanding and proposal of underwriting applications, rules, mapping and scoring. Coordinate and/or execute audits required to support operational processes. Perform quality control processes on periodic system updates and the implementation of underwriting rule changes. Adhere to all Information Security policies and best practices, including security awareness training and other information protection initiatives. Foster and participate in a culture of continuous improvement and psychological safety.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related field: developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture; utilizing experience querying relational databases, including experience with SQL; utilizing experience with data analysis; working with Tableau Security and Server for report distribution and governance controls; and utilizing experience with process design, review and improvement and documentation experience. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. In the alternative the employer will accept a Master’s degree in one of the above listed fields and three (3) years of skills in the above listed skills.
