What we are looking for:

Yazaki North America, is looking for a Deployment Engineer to join our advanced manufacturing and technology team in El Paso, TX. The candidate will support the investigation and deployment of manufacturing automation projects for Advanced Manufacturing and Technology. This includes new equipment research, business case investigation, validation, field installation and deployment. The candidate will support other activities as needed and contribute to overall continuous improvement.

 

 What you will be doing:

Equipment Investigation-Deployment

• Advanced manufacturing technology information research
• Information exchange with internal and external manufacturing related personnel
• Investigate, specify, and testing of the prototype equipment
• Installation, modification, and maintenance of the mass production equipment
• Troubleshooting, Training, of the equipment
• Design and fabrication of jigs, assembly of electrical circuits, etc.
• Program/code Python, PLCs, Robots, etc.
• Demonstration and explanation of equipment and process

Manufacturing Support and Business Case Investigation

• Collect latest manufacturing condition information
• Propose new/improved manufacturing processes
• Technical explanation supports to Plants, Business units, and Customers
• Support Process and Cost analysis for the manufacturing process
• Application study, implementation planning and support
• Meeting with related department

Document Preparation

• Project schedule, progress report, presentation
• Prepare guidelines, instructions, tech boards, visual management boards, etc.
