Under general direction of the Director, RO Strategy & Solutions, responsible for managing the business relationship between Cencora and respective Large Strategic Accounts while maintaining customer compliance and ensuring manufacturer performance. Recommends and contributes to improve strategies in customer relations resulting in increased value for AmerisourceBergen. The Manager will be responsible for using data to tell an accurate story of market, Company and customer performance while leveraging new and existing strategies to meet our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage Large Strategic Accounts; forecasts, sales vs. plan and purchasing trends, whether based on historical demand or new customer requirements to maximize Cencora FFS compliance.

• Builds and manages relationships with Large Strategic Accounts, Suppliers and other functional areas in order to improve performance, buy side profitability, inventory productivity and overall team effectiveness.

• Responsible for pricing issues and reconciling invoice discrepancies while working in conjunction with Large Accounts, Suppliers, Contracts, Accounts Payable and the Distribution Centers.

• Manages Inventory by maintaining service levels, while preventing the purchase of non-productive inventory. Works closely with Customers, Suppliers, NRC and Distribution Centers to move any non-productive inventory.

• Develops new solutions to various tactical challenges Cencora and strategic accounts faces as it relates to procuring product and supplier and distribution center relations.

• Manages opportunities such as deals, rebates, allowances, new item purchases and promotional activities for suppliers and customers.

• Partners with large strategic accounts daily and acts as an advocate for Cencora interests relative to large strategic accounts actions and policies.

• Ability to resolve issues independently.

• Performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character.

• Makes strategic decisions to find solutions to increase Cencora’s profitability.

• Able to manage, mentor and train other employees.

• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
