Position Description

This position requires management of incoming products, quality checks, deliveries of customers’ orders, and verification of order processing for the Countertop and Commercial Division.

Overall Responsibilities:

•  Load/unload distribution trucks and import container shipments.
•  Verifies shipment for accuracy and signs Bill of Lading, collects packing slips, and relevant paperwork.
•  Unloads, sorts, and processes transactions of Countertop / Commercial orders.
•  Receive the completed product when delivered. (IFS)
•  Ability to become forklift certified.
•  Completes forklift safety inspection checklist.
•  Understands that following standard work is a condition of employment.
•  Completes 5S checklist.
•  Available to work 8 to 10 hours per day, five days a week.
•  Follows all safety policies and procedures.
•  Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Tolerance for standing for long periods of time.  Possess finger dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator.  Maintain adequate vision to view small print and computer terminal.  Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional heavy lifting (75 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required.  Ability to travel between multiple customer facilities as required to perform core job duties.
