Experienced Interpreter (English-Spanish)

Please note that only candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience as an OPI/VRI (over-the-phone interpreter/video-remote interpreter) will be considered for this position. Candidates without this specific experience will not be considered for this or any other position if they apply here. General experience in call centers or experience in medical brigades does not count as experience for this position. WORK FROM HOME REMOTELY

We are seeking competent interpreters with a minimum of six months of proven experience as an OPI/VRI in a call center industry to assist non-English speakers across a range of activities. The interpreter will provide interpretation services during various processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Precisely and accurately interpret customer service information given by the provider into equivalent terminology in the patient's native language.
• Interpretation and translation of direct service to physicians and/or other health care providers who are seeing patients who cannot speak or understand English, when specifically required by the provider.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality by policies and standards.
• Establish and maintain quality service and positive interaction with all patients, customers, visitors, and healthcare providers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-year minimum experience as OPI or VRI
• Laptop or desktop, Windows 10 or higher version
• Excellent bilingual communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
• Proficient enunciation and pronunciation skills, and pleasant, professional voice.
