PRN Registered Nurse (RN)

• PRN Status:  PRN/Flex status requires a minimum commitment of 2  weekend shifts per pay period, based on the needs of the center. These can be within the same weekend or split up.
• Our greatest needs for PRN staff at the moment is on the PM & Overnight Shift; but that could change
• Pay Rate:  RNs = $50/hr and LPNs = $40/hr

Our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is owned and operated by Stephenson County, but managed by Transitional Care Management.  We have a new Administrator, new clinical programming and we are expanding our team.

With 148 beds, we serve a diverse population of short-term rehab patients, long term care residents and several memory care residents.  We also have an active therapy dept. achieving terrific functional gains.  Come join us.

Job Description

This is a PRN Floor Nurse position.  A Registered Nurse (RN) would be ideal for this role, but we are willing to consider a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), with the right experience. 

An overview of the expectations are:

• No benefits/insurance offered with this position
• This is a non-union position
• This is an “as-needed”, intermittent schedule.  
• You must commit to working 2 weekend shifts per month.  This can be one Saturday and one Sunday worked together or you can separate them in to different weekends.  You can also pick up additional shifts as your schedule allows.
• Our greatest needs for PRN at the moment is on the Overnight shift
• We require our PRN staff to attend a full New Employee Orientation, held every other Monday.  (You must be able to attend a Monday orientation.) 

Qualifications

• * Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in IL
• * Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is ideal
• * Experience with the memory care population is helpful
• * Electronic medical records experience (Matrix) is ideal
