Job Description:

Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as an Enterprise IT Director at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.
 

Serve as a senior thought leader for Sector Leadership and our customers regarding Enterprise IT solutions and services. Help grow our Enterprise IT portfolio of work and bring differentiated technology offerings to market as an Enterprise IT Director.

HOW AN ENTERPRISE IT DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Engage GDIT customers around strategies and solutions to help them manage, engineer and operate Enterprise IT services and solutions, including networks, infrastructure, and end user services
• Lead and contribute to the development of market-leading Enterprise IT technology offerings
• Contribute to win strategies, consultative selling engagements, and solutions and proposals for GDIT’s most strategic Enterprise IT business development pursuits
• Educate and inform senior GDIT leaders of market and customer trends, competitor threats, and strategic opportunities to grow the company
• Provide short and/or long-term Enterprise IT direct program support
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, other development teams, vendors, technical teams, and end users, to comprehend business requirements and design solutions for a range of diverse problems. 
• Ensures service delivery alignment with program and customer strategic goals by developing strategic roadmaps and tracking KPI’s.
• Provides transparent communications on project timelines, resource requirements, risk management, and status reporting across all organizational and technical boundaries.
• Provides oversight for critical Enterprise IT incidents, coordinating with resolution parties and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post incident reviews and after-action reporting.
• Advise and assist with inputs to resource allocation that contributes to the effective execution of project objectives. 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Required Experience: 10+ years of Enterprise IT or related experience
• Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Expertise in IT Service Management
  • Expertise in IT Operations
  • Expertise in Network architecture and operations
  • Expertise in Data Center management
  • Expertise in Infrastructure and Platform services
  • Expertise in Service Desk operations
  • Expertise in End User services (e.g., desktop, mobility)
  • Expertise in implementing advanced IT Service Management automation, including AI Ops
  • Expertise in diverse set of ITSM and IT Ops tools and Cloud services
  • Expertise in technical writing, presentation writing, and proposal development
  • Expertise in consultative selling
  • Experience successfully leading and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience engaging with Sr. government officials and C-level executives
  • ITIL Expert and ITIL v4 Managing Professional Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (Preferred)
• Location: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA and/or client site. Must be comfortable working onsite, as needed or directed by client.
• Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• US Citizenship required
