Registered Nurse

Description

SpeechCom Inc. is hiring a full-time CA Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to serve a school district in Encinitas, CA for the 2024/2025 school year.

Details

• Full-time
• 8 hours per day
• 5 days per week for the full school year
• Pay: $35-$42/hour depending on experience
• One Student - will work with student on bus and on site.
• Must be able to perform a range of duties that include, but are not limited to: monitor SpO2, operate oxygen concentration, provide Tube Feeding (TF), suction of excess secretion (if needed for student care)
• Must pass LiveScan
• New TB Test to be completed

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities: 

Knowledge of community agencies to help students and their families.

Knowledge of district policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

Registered nurse (RN) certification required.

Current CA state-issued nursing license required.

Physical Requirements: 

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Prolonged periods of standing, reaching, and bending.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
