Summary

This position is responsible for designing, teaching, and instructing classes.A minimum of 2 years of instruction of the specific designated class preferred. BCLS Required. ACE,AFAA OR ACSM certifications required. Must have the basic knowledge and ability to instruct the class; strong communication and marketing skills; must exhibit concern for participant satisfaction. Must have basic understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as risk factor modification. Flexibility with schedule a must. Is knowledgeable of the psychosocial and physiological development and spiritual needs of infants, children, adolescents, and all adult age groups (per Erickson’s Model) in order to provide appropriate care and intervention, either personally or through staff.Works mostly inside; light cleaning and facility preparation which will include movement of equipment. Moderate physical exertion involved with participation in classes. Travel sometimes required. Good verbal skills and manual dexterity. Sometimes subjected to occupational exposure.
