About the Team:
This role is with our supply chain event team to help lead our Divestiture/Separation process, specific to FIS's Procurement function.
What you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to help lead our Divestiture/Separation process, specific to FIS's Procurement function. This role will be responsible for supporting the split of Sourcing, Contracting, Procurement Operations, and Corporate Travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and project management, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders. Short-term responsibilities will include transitioning work from our consulting partner, document current state and separation processes. Medium-term responsibilities will include managing supplier dispositions, coordinating contractual agreements, and managing Transition Services Agreements (TSAs) with the divested entity. This role will also involve executive reporting and collaboration with various departments to ensure a smooth transition.
Coach and help supervise a 2-3 person team who are focused on supporting procurement activities related to the divestiture of a business unit, including Sourcing, Contracting, Procurement Operations, and Corporate Travel.
Document, baseline and optimize processes and strategies for supplier dispositions and manage contractual agreements to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
Transition activities from consulting partner and ensure that existing current status is understood, that in-flight actions are being tracked and managed and that all data is organized and transitioned to FIS systems.
Provide support Transition Services Agreements (TSAs) to facilitate a seamless transition during the divestiture process. TSAs include Sourcing/Contracting, Contractors/Temp Labor, Procurement Operation (PR/PO) and Corporate/Employee Travel
Lead contract separation process including alignment with joint procurement organizations, management of Adoption Agreements, analysis of risks/issues and mitigation of potential impacts to FIS.
Consult and support transition activities as divested entity stands up internal organizations, processes, policies and operational activities. Support FIS functional owners in creating and managing project plans and supporting day-to-day transition actions.
Provide project management leadership, ensuring that all separation-related projects/programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Prepare and present executive reports on procurement separation activities, project status, and key performance indicators to senior leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and procurement organizations, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the divestiture process.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities and develop contingency plans as needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and value delivery.
What you will need:
Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
Knowledge of the industry project management best practices, i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project application
Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
Knowledge of financial services industry
